RightPitch is operated by Tecnots. This policy explains what we collect through the
RightPitch website and mobile apps, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the
control you have over it. It applies to everyone who uses RightPitch — entrepreneurs,
investors and experts.
To provide our professional business services, we collect the following types of information:
Name, email address, phone number, country and language, profile photo, professional
role and any biography you add. If you sign in with Google or Apple we receive the
name and email address associated with that account. Authentication is handled by
Google Firebase.
Ideas, KPI metrics, growth statistics, industry categories, financial and valuation
inputs, and pitch deck contents (PPTX/PDF) that you create or upload.
Sectors of interest, deal criteria and portfolio tracking data provided by investors.
Contracts you create, receive or sign, together with the signing details we are
required to keep as evidence of execution — signatory name, email, timestamp and
the technical details of the signing event — and records of investments and
agreements made through the platform.
Chat messages and their attachments, voice notes, meeting and consultation requests,
expert booking records, notifications, and your conversations with our AI assistant,
Nia.
Voice notes you record, audio captured when you dictate text, and microphone audio
during a live voice conversation with Nia — together with the text transcribed from
it. Audio is only captured after you start one of these actions. See section 4.
Images you choose from your photo library or capture with the camera, and documents
you upload as attachments, deck material or supporting evidence for a request.
Your precise location, and only when you deliberately choose to share it inside a
chat message. We do not collect location in the background or track your movements.
When you choose to share a contact in a chat, we access only the single contact you
pick, so that its name, phone number and email can be sent. We do not upload or
store your address book.
Device model, operating system version, app version, a device/installation
identifier and push notification token, plus crash reports and app performance and
usage data collected through Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics. We do not
use advertising identifiers, and the app does not track you across other companies'
apps or websites.
We request access to the microphone, camera, photo library, storage, contacts,
location, notifications and biometrics. Every one of these is requested at the
moment you use the feature that needs it, is optional, and can be withdrawn at any
time in your device settings.
We use the collected data to:
If an entrepreneur chooses to share a pitch, idea or document, it becomes visible to
the investors or collaborators they share it with. Messages you send are visible to
the people in that conversation.
When you request an expert review or book a consultation, the relevant profile
details, request contents and any documents you attach are shared with the assigned
expert so that they can carry out the work.
We share data with providers who operate parts of the service on our behalf:
Google Firebase (authentication, push notifications, analytics, crash reporting),
Microsoft Azure (file and document storage), and the AI providers listed in section
4. They may process your data only to provide the service to us, under contract.
We may disclose information if required by law, or where necessary to investigate a
report of abuse, protect our rights, or protect the safety of our users.
We do not sell your personal or business data. We do not use it for advertising, and
we do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers.
RightPitch uses third-party AI services to power voice conversations with Nia, written
assistance (contract summaries, the form assistant, AI Pitch Maker, AI Valuation and slide
chat) and speech-to-text for voice messages. This section explains exactly what that means.
Depending on the feature: the text you type; the idea, pitch deck, valuation or
contract you are working on; documents you attach; audio you record; and, during a
voice conversation with Nia, live microphone audio and its transcript. When you ask
for a voice message to be transcribed or translated, the recording is sent — which
may be a recording made by the other person in that conversation.
OpenAI, L.L.C. (United States) processes voice conversations and
speech-to-text. OpenRouter, Inc. (United States) routes written
requests to Anthropic, PBC and Google LLC. Our
Nia voice engine is operated by NAS Labs. During a live voice
conversation, audio is sent from your device directly to OpenAI so that Nia can
reply in real time.
Solely to produce the response, summary, draft or transcript you asked for. We do
not sell this data, use it for advertising, or use it to build profiles about you.
AI features ask for your permission before anything is sent. The app shows you what
will be transmitted and which company will receive it, and nothing leaves your
device unless you agree. You can review or withdraw that permission at any time in
Settings → Help & legal → AI & your data. Declining does
not affect the rest of the app.
Each AI provider processes your content only to return a result to us, under
contractual terms that require confidentiality and security protections. We choose
providers whose terms are consistent with the commitments in this policy, and we
review those terms when we add or change a provider.
We implement industry-standard security measures, including:
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you
and the relevant authorities as required by law.
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account in the app, or from
rightpitch.com/delete-account.
When you delete your account, we remove your profile, your ideas and drafts, your messages
and your uploaded files after a short grace period during which you can cancel the request.
What we must keep. Signed contracts, investments and related financial
records are retained together with their signing details, because other people have relied
on them and we are legally required to keep evidence that agreements were executed. These
records are retained for as long as the law requires and are no longer linked to an active
account. We also retain records needed for tax, accounting and abuse-prevention purposes.
Otherwise we keep personal data only for as long as your account is active or as needed to
provide the service.
RightPitch is operated from India and uses service providers located in other countries,
including the United States. Where your data is transferred internationally, we rely on the
safeguards offered by those providers' contractual terms to protect it.
RightPitch is a professional platform intended for adults. It is not directed at children,
and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child
has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or
legal requirements. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed, and we
will notify you of any significant change through the app.
